Located just 270 km southwest of Vienna, in Austria’s Carinthia region, Wolfsberg is a hard rock lithium deposit of significant scale and quality. Its close proximity to well-established road and rail infrastructure ensures efficient access to key European markets. Backed by over four decades of exploration data dating back to the 1980s, the project boasts a S-K1300 compliant mineral resource and has advanced through multiple stages of technical validation—including detailed engineering assessments and a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS)—confirming both its economic viability and production potential. 

What truly sets Wolfsberg apart is its substantial exploration upside, offering long-term growth potential alongside near-term production readiness. The project is uniquely positioned to become one of Europe’s few domestic lithium producers at a time when secure, local supply is critical to energy independence and industrial competitiveness. 

Further strengthening its strategic importance, Wolfsberg benefits from two transformative partnerships: 

• A joint venture with Obeikan Investment Group to build a Lithium Hydroxide Refinery in Saudi Arabia, supporting downstream processing and global market reach. 
• A long-term offtake agreement with BMW Group, underscoring the project’s alignment with major automotive OEMs and its role in enabling sustainable electric vehicle production in Europe. 
• Together, these partnerships not only reinforce Wolfsberg’s commitment to ESG standards and sustainable supply chains but also establish it as a key pillar in the future of European battery manufacturing, reducing reliance on overseas suppliers and enhancing energy security.
